Changing the date or time of your consultation

Let Social Security Scotland know as soon as possible if you cannot go to the consultation. They can help you arrange another date or time.

It’s important that you take part in the consultation. Social Security Scotland will use the information you discuss to make a decision on your application. If you do not go to a consultation, they’ll need to make a decision based on the information you've already given them.

You can change the time and date of your consultation up to 3 times in a 3 month period. After this, Social Security Scotland may need to make a decision based on the information you have already given them.
