Children and teenagers
If your child or teenager uses the internet, you can take steps to keep them safe online.
There is no single way of doing this and it can vary depending on their age.
Some steps you can take include:
- using parental control software
- using a secure internet connection
- encouraging your children not to give out personal information online
- encouraging your children to think about what they post
- asking your children to tell you about any inappropriate content they find
