Registered suppliers
There are around 40 suppliers registered with the R100 Scottish Broadband Voucher Scheme. The type of connection they can provide will often depend on your location. These include:
- Full fibre, or fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP), uses a network of fibre optic cables to deliver highspeed broadband to your property
- Fixed wireless access broadband uses an outdoor wireless network that can range from a few hundred metres to many kilometres
- Fixed mobile, or fixed wireless access using 4G or 5G, provides internet connectivity by using one of the UK's mobile networks
- Satellite broadband uses a dish or antenna on your property to connect to a satellite in space
