Who can get an under 22s bus pass

Young people aged 5 to 21 who live in Scotland can get a free bus pass. You can use this on most bus services in Scotland.

You can apply for an under 22s bus pass online or through your local council .

For more information about the under 22s bus pass scheme, visit freebus.scot.

If you’re under 22 and disabled

You can choose between the disabled person's bus pass and the under 22s bus pass.

Remember that companions cannot travel for free on the under 22s bus pass.

Some local council areas also provide discounted travel on trains, trams or the subway with a disabled person's bus pass.

A disabled person's bus pass is valid for up to 3 years.
