Social Security Scotland Satisfaction Survey for Scottish Adult Disability Living Allowance
Social Security Scotland wants to hear from people who have had their disability benefit moved to them from the Department of Work and Pensions.
Social Security Scotland are doing a survey to learn about your experience.
Everyone who has had their award transferred to Scottish Adult Disability Living Allowance can take part.
Taking part is your choice. Completing the survey will not affect any of your applications or benefits.
Completing the survey
You can complete the survey online. It should take you around 15 minutes. You cannot save your answers, so you should complete the whole survey in one sitting.
If you prefer, call the Social Security Scotland research helpline free on 0800 029 4974, quoting the reference ‘Survey B’, to:
- get help to complete the survey over the phone, including with an interpreter if you need one
- ask them to send a paper survey to you, with a pre-paid return envelope
The phone line is open from 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.
Completing the survey is optional.

- where it can improve

Social Security Scotland will keep your answers confidential. No one involved in making benefit decisions now or in the future will:
- know if you’ve taken part
- have access to your individual answers

- applied for a benefit
- received a benefit
This information includes a person’s:
- name
- address
- contact details
