Returning your Blue Badge
You must return your Blue Badge to your local council if:
- it’s expired
- you no longer qualify for the badge because your condition has improved
- it cannot be read because of damage
- your entitlement for a temporary badge ends
- you get a withdrawal notice from your local council
If you find a Blue Badge belonging to someone who has died, you should return it to the local council who issued it. The local council name is written on the front of the badge.
