Get help with voting or registering

You can get help with voting or registering from your local Electoral Registration Office (ERO), including:

  • printing forms
  • checking if you’re already registered to vote
  • finding ID for voting at polling stations in UK Parliament elections

Find your local ERO on GOV.UK.

Your local ERO can also help you with opting in or out of the ‘open register’. This is the version of the electoral register which is available to anyone who wants to buy it.

Find out more about the electoral register and the open register on GOV.UK.

Change your name, address or nationality

You can use the 'Register to vote' service to change your name, address or nationality on GOV.UK.
