The Scotland’s People website holds records of births in Scotland.

Search the Scotland’s People birth register to find your birth records.

Find information about your donor

You can apply to find information about the person who donated their eggs or sperm so you could be born through surrogacy.

Apply for information about your donor through the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority.
