The First-tier Tribunal for Scotland Health and Education Chamber
The Health and Education Chamber is part of the First-tier Tribunal for Scotland.
It decides appeals made by children, young people and their parents against decisions of education authorities, independent or grant-aided schools in relation to:
- co-ordinated support plans - for example, the statutory education plan in Scotland
- transitions
- placing requests
- disability discrimination in school education
- the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child
