Apply for the Home Owners Support Fund
Only an accredited money and debt adviser can apply for the fund for a homeowner.
We cannot accept an application directly from a homeowner. You must get advice from an accredited money and debt adviser before you apply.

Details you need to apply
The adviser must provide the following information:
- name, date of birth, address and contact details for the person applying
- details of who owns the property, including names and current addresses
- details of any spouse or civil partner who does not own the property, and any other occupants
- details about the property, including year of construction and any building work since carried out
- what rooms and features the property has, such as a garage or garden
- if there is a trustee, shared ownership and property factor for the property
- details of any secured loans, including who the lender is
Documents to upload
The adviser must upload copies of the following documents:
- an income and expenditure form
- redemption statements for any secured loans
You must enter all details in one go. You cannot save progress and return later.
Documents we’ll ask for in future
There are some documents we’ll only ask for if the person can get the fund:
- proof that they’re at least 3 months in arrears
- a copy of a letter from any trustee, if relevant
- evidence from a GP about any disability or health condition, if relevant
- copies of planning permission, building warrant and completion certificate, if relevant
The fund team will email the person applying if they need these documents.
