Complain about an EPC

Contact the assessor

If you think the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is wrong, contact the assessor who produced it. Their contact details will be on the Recommendations Report section of the EPC.

They should explain how they reached their conclusion.

Contact the Approved Organisation

If you’re not satisfied with the assessor’s explanation, contact the scheme manager of the approved organisation (AO) they belong to.

The AO will be listed on the first page next to the ‘Date of Certificate’. We have linked to their websites below:
