Pay a bus lane penalty

Bus lane Enforcement Charge Notices or Penalty Charge Notices (PCN)

A Bus lane Enforcement Charge Notice or PCN is up to £60.

You have 28 days to pay or challenge the penalty. If you pay it within 14 days it'll be reduced by 50%.

If you do not pay

If you do not pay or challenge your Bus lane Enforcement Charge Notice or PCN within 28 days, the fine will be increased by 50% up to £90.

If you do not pay after this increase, the local council may register your debt with a court and recover the money using sheriff officers.
