Ayrshire Loan Fund

A Loan Fund in Ayrshire aiming to support new and growing businesses that are unable to attract the level of investment required to get their projects off the ground. The Fund will be actively promoted to businesses operating in the tourism, retail and food and drink sectors.

  • The loan can be up to 75% of the funding package. Balance of the funding package must be provided by the private sector.
  • Loans up to £100,000 are available.
  • Repayment period from 2-7 years with consideration given to a capital holiday on a case by case basis.
  • The interest rate is fixed at 5% for the term of the loan.
  • Appropriate security will be taken to protect the Fund's investment including, for example, standard security, bond and floating charge and personal guarantee.
  • No setup fees.
