You can phone Disclosure Scotland’s helpline on 0300 020 0040.

The helpline is open:

  • Monday to Wednesday 9am to 4pm
  • Friday 9am to 3.30pm

If you have a question about your disclosure or the progress of an application, email response@disclosurescotland.gov.scot.

In your email you must include the:

  • application reference number
  • customer name
  • date of birth
  • current address

If you're a countersignatory (CSG) please include your CSG number.

Providing this information will help us respond as quickly as possible. Without this information we cannot share information about a specific application.

Disclosure Scotland does not run an out of hours media service. The opening hours are Monday to Thursday 9am to 4pm, and Friday 9am to 3:30pm.

Enquiries received outside of these times will be responded to as soon as possible the following working day.
