Search the register of fair rents

Search the register of Fair Rents to find out the maximum rent that can be charged for registered accommodation that:

• is rented privately
• was let before 2 January 1989
• does not have a resident landlord

Search by:

• postcode (full or partial postcode, for example EH1 3DG or EH1)
• street
• town or city

There may be no registered fair rents in your search area.

Requesting printed copies

Details of all registrations of fair rents on individual properties since November 1994 are available on the Fair Rent eRegister or you can request a printed extract from the Rent Service Scotland office.
