If your claim is not approved

If you've questions or a complaint about your claim you should contact the cashier or finance team at the hospital where the claim is being made.

If your child is being treated in another country within the UK

You cannot claim visiting costs for children who usually live in Scotland but are getting inpatient treatment in another country within the UK.

You may be able to claim for this through the NHS Patient Travel Reimbursement Scheme.

Bliss - for babies born premature or sick

For general support for families of sick or premature babies, check the Bliss website to find support in your area.
