Getting the results

The first bacteriological results are usually within 24 to 72 hours of reaching the laboratory.

Full chemical samples can take up to 6 weeks from the date they're given to the laboratory.

If you live in a remote or island community, there might be a delay in getting the samples to the lab for analysis.

Your local council should keep you updated with progress.
