Why your payments have moved to Social Security Scotland
Social Security Scotland is replacing Disability Living Allowance (DLA) from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) with Scottish Adult Disability Living Allowance (Scottish Adult DLA). This is happening as part of Scottish devolution.
Social Security Scotland and the DWP will both send you a letter to explain what happens next. You do not need to do anything until you receive these letters.
Find out more about how DLA is moving Scottish Adult DLA.
Call Social Security Scotland free on 0800 182 2222 if you have any questions about the move.
If something changes before your award is moved
If you need to report a change before your benefit is moved, contact the DWP.
After your benefit is moved
Social Security Scotland may review your award if you:
- are due a review
- report a change
