Read review reports on school closures

Last updated: 23 March 2020

When a local authority decides to close down a school, it has to meet certain requirements to do this.

If there are worries these requirements haven't been met, the Scottish Ministers can choose to review the decision.

This passes the case to the School Closure Review Panels (SCRP), who investigate the closure and check to see if it was carried out properly.

Visit the School Closure Review Panels website to read the SCRP's reports on these investigations, and any decisions made.
