Registers of Scotland plan assistance service

Last updated: 1 February 2018

If you want to register your deeds on the Land Register of Scotland, you need to give a plan with map data to Registers of Scotland.

Registers of Scotland offers a plan assistance service which uses special software to translate the information from your deeds onto a plan that's suitable for registration.

The plan assistance service:

  • transfers title extent information to the Ordnance Survey map
  • points out possible problems
  • gives you a mapped interpretation from title descriptions
  • makes an accurate digital map and map data which meets Registers of Scotland criteria

Visit Registers of Scotland for more information on the plan assistance service, including:

  • what it does
  • when to use it
  • who it's for
  • charges
  • how to apply
