Share your experience of benefits or care needs at pension age

The Scottish Government is designing a new benefit called Pension Age Disability Payment. We want to speak to people at pension age who have either:

  • experience receiving benefits
  • care needs during the day or night

This will help us make sure the service meets the needs of the people who will use it.

Share your experience

We've put together a form asking some questions about you and your experience. After you complete it, we'll get in contact to offer you the opportunity to take part in a research session.

Taking part in a research session is always optional.

About the research sessions

The research sessions can be held online, over the phone or in person.

If you’re asked to meet to discuss something in person, we can travel to your location or cover the cost of your expenses if you travel to us. Further support can also be provided to help you take part.

Completing the form

You can complete the form online. The form should take around 10 minutes to complete.

You cannot save your answers, so you should complete the whole form in one sitting.

Taking part will not affect any of your applications or benefits. No one involved in making benefit decisions will have access to your answers or know if you’ve taken part.

Any personal information you provide will be held according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can find out more about this in our privacy notice.
