Grant closures and application deadlines
If you applied, but the local council asked for further information
If your local council asked for more information, you had to send this by 5pm on Friday 31 July 2020. If you did not send it by this date, the council will assume you've withdrawn your application.
If you applied, but were told you're not eligible
If you applied, but the council turned your application down, you could have asked them for a review. You had to ask for this before 5pm on Friday 31 July 2020. If you did not ask them by this date the council will not have reviewed your case.
If you applied, but are waiting for an assessor visit
Your local council may have needed an assessor to make a site visit, for example to decide if the premises should be included in the Non-Domestic Rates Valuation Roll. The council may delay the decision on your application until the assessor can visit your site. In such cases, your local council will try to process your application using other evidence to make their decision. They will contact you if they still need an assessor to visit.
