Everyone has mental and emotional health. Events and experiences in your life can have a positive and negative affect on them.

If you're having a mental or emotional health problem contact your doctor. If you feel you need additional support, you can:

  • ask your doctor for a longer appointment
  • take a family member or friend with you

If you're having mental or emotional health problems outside your doctor's regular hours, you can:

You can contact NHS 24 or Breathing Space about your mental or emotional health. For example low moods, depression or anxiety.

If you have a problem with your mental health such as depression, schizophrenia or anxiety you can get support with money, work and day-to-day life.
