EU Gateway - Business Avenues in Asia

The aim of this programme is to strengthen the presence of European companies in Asia by helping European companies to establish long-lasting business collaborations. Selected European companies get the opportunity to participate in a one-week business mission in any of the four target markets, Korea, South East Asia, China and Japan, focused on a specific sector.

Companies benefit from a range of business support services, which includes coaching, logistical and financial support.

Standard services and support are provided to all companies participating in a Business Mission. There is also the opportunity to add optional, customised services.

Financial support

  • 100% co-financing of strategic and organisational standard services.
  • Up to €1,000 co-funding of accommodation costs for one room per company in business mission hotel.
  • 80% co-financing for customised services up to a maximum of €1,000.

Strategic services

  • Tailored preparation on business culture, local market, business opportunities.
  • Scheduling of individual business meetings with local companies.
  • Individual stand-by assistance during business mission.
  • Advice on how to follow-up on business contacts.

Organisational services

  • Logistical support for the business exhibition, including interpretation, installation of booth, design and creation of business mission catalogue, information material.
  • Targeted promotion of the company and invitation of selected visitors from Japanese / Korean business community to the business mission week.
