Apply for a disabled person's bus pass
How to apply
Your National Entitlement Card (NEC) will be your bus pass. You can:
- apply online on getyournec.scot – in all areas of Scotland
- apply through Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) – if you live in one of the 12 local councils in the Glasgow and Strathclyde area
- apply through your local council – if you live outside the Glasgow and Strathclyde area

You'll need:
- a recent photo
- proof of your current address
- proof of disability
- proof of eligibility for a companion – if you need to travel with a companion

- a laptop, tablet, phone or other device with a camera
- a myaccount – you can register if you do not already have one
- proof of identity
