This competition is looking for the UK's most innovative digital small businesses to make a difference to the country’s future cities.
The winners of each of the categories will receive a £10,000 cash prize, plus the opportunity to develop their ground breaking idea with the support of BT for six months. BT's partners TechHub are also offering a six-month flex membership to help the winners take their businesses to the next level.
The Connected Cities: BT Infinity SME Award is a contest designed to find those businesses that are developing digital products or services that can shape and enhance future cities in the UK.
The programme seeks to identify small firms that will make a difference to the way cities connect, through imaginative digital products or services. Prizes will be awarded to support these companies in turning their ideas into reality.
Although there are no specific exclusions cited within the programme guidelines, those wishing to apply are advised to liaise with the funding provider in the first instance to discuss eligibility.
Small and medium-sized businesses developing digital products or services in the UK that could help to create connected cities and benefit health and social care, transport or education, employment and skills, may apply.
Match funding is not a stipulated requirement of this programme.
