An intensive business support programme worth £1 million is available to help manufacturers compete for work in the UK civil nuclear industry.
Participating companies receive a four-year programme of business development and training worth £1 million.
CNSIG is part-funded by government through the Regional Growth Fund, and supported by industry leaders including Rolls-Royce.
The Civil Nuclear Sharing in Growth programme (CNSIG) aims to develop the UK manufacturing supply chain for civil nuclear – in new build, operations and decommissioning – and help UK companies gain work in the nuclear industry at home and overseas
Participating companies will receive a four-year programme of business development and training tailored to the specific needs of their business. This will include shopfloor manufacturing improvement, process improvement, leadership development and specific nuclear sector knowledge.
Although there are no specific exclusions cited, those wishing to apply are advised to liaise with the sponsor to discuss eligibility.
UK companies in the nuclear industry are eligible to apply.
Match funding is not a requirement of the scheme.
