The British Farming Awards celebrate the creative thinking, innovation and dedication of UK farmers who have found new, better ways of achieving results.
This is a non-financial scheme however successful applicants will receive recognition for their achievements at an awards ceremony.
This awards scheme is organised by Briefing Media Agriculture, which is the parent company to Farmers Guardian, Arable Farming and Dairy Farmer. The 2017 sponsors are as follows: ABP UK, Afimilk, AFP, ArmaTrac, Dow AgroSciences, Fendt, Firma Foreign Exchange, Herdwatch, Kuboto, Massey Ferguson, NSF Agriculture and Shearwell Data.
This awards scheme aims to celebrate the hard work and achievements of farmers working within the UK agricultural sector; recognising creative thinking, innovation and dedication.

Application forms are available online. Additional information is welcome that would support the application such as supporting photographs and/or short videos. Applicants may enter into as many categories as they wish however they should make sure to complete a separate submission for each category. Entry to the awards scheme is free.
The shortlist will be announced 18 August 2017, with the judging process taking place 19 October 2017. The awards ceremony will take place 19 October 2017 at the National Conference Centre, Birmingham. Tickets for the event may be purchased through the British Farming Awards website. The dress code for this event is semi-formal/lounge suits. The 2017 Guest Speaker and timetable is expected to be announced shortly.
