Annual award programme for young entrepreneurs in the UK who have a good idea and would like to start their own business.
The programme has a total budget of £300,000 and is intended to run for ten years.
The winner of the award will be given a grant of £10,000 coupled with £10,000 worth of mentoring and accountancy advice. Two runners-up will be presented with £5,000 worth of accountancy advice and mentoring fees over a period of one year.

Baldwins Kick Start is an annual award programme for young entrepreneurs who have a good idea and would like to start their own business. The programme has been established to find and develop the 'Youth Entrepreneurs’ of the future.
Baldwins hopes to reach those young people who have talent, drive, ambition and ideas but who lack access to the necessary funding and business support needed to start up in enterprise.
Although there are no specific exclusions cited within the programme guidelines, those wishing to apply are advised to liaise with the sponsor in the first instance to discuss eligibility.
The scheme is open to UK-based young people aged between 18 and 25 who either have an idea and a business plan but are yet to start trading, or a newly founded start-up businesses where trading commenced on or after 31 August 2016.
Match funding is not a stipulated requirement of this programme.
The financial assistance is intended to be used towards the costs of starting up and running a new business.
The programme operates on an annual basis.
From the entries submitted, ten successful applicants will be invited to an interview with the judging panel.
The winner will be announced on Finals Night in November at a dinner at Warwickshire County Cricket Club, coinciding with [GF003964] Global Entrepreneurship Week [/GF]. Three finalists will get the opportunity to present their business plans to an invited audience before the announcement of the winner.
