The 60 Second Pitch Awards are intended to provide entrepreneurs in the UK with a business idea the opportunity to win up to £1,500, coupled with support and advice from Santander.
The 60 Second Pitch Awards give the winners the chance to gain up to £1,500 as well as support and advice from Santander.
- 1st Place - £1,500
- 2nd place - £1,000
- 3rd place - £500
The winning entry will also get business support and advice from Santander.
The 60 Second Pitch Awards are administered by Santander Universities (a division of Santander UK plc). Santander Universities is a portal for entrepreneurs and the university, start-up and small business communities.
The 60 Second Pitch Awards are intended to provide entrepreneurs with a business idea the opportunity to win up to £1,500, coupled with support and advice from Santander.
To take part, entrants are required describe their business idea, concept or product and why they feel they deserve to win in a 60 second YouTube video. The general public will vote for their favourite entry.
The competition runs every three months.
Although there are no specific exclusions cited within the programme guidelines, those wishing to apply are advised to liaise with the funding provider in the first instance to discuss eligibility.
Entrepreneurs in the UK who are 18 years old or over may enter this competition. All Applicants must be studying a higher education course accredited by a UK university or have officially graduated from such a course within two years of the date of submission.
Match funding is not a stipulated requirement of this programme.
Business start-up costs.
The deadline for receipt of entries for most recent round (Summer Awards) was 24 July 2015.
The Autumn Awards were due to open on 1 October 2015 with applications required by 17 November 2015. However, this round has been cancelled and the Awards are now closed for 2015. The funding provider has advised the competition will re-open in 2016.

Prize money will be paid in the form of a cheque made out to the account holder of the winning submissions.
